God has seen through your journey, your needs, your cry, how crooked the way can be, He hath seen that man has lost it all then He, being your Father, has sent His message to you again that you should be of good cheer. This admonition is about the right thing to do to conquer lack and inadequacy.
Matthew 6:33 says,
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”.
The human nature is created with insatiable wants and he has been thrown to continuous toiling. After the fall of the first Adam, God said “…cursed is the ground for thy sake, in sorrow shall thou eat of it all the days of your life…In sweat of thy face shall thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground…” (Gen. 3 vs.17-19). Christ came with the new revelation of the kingdom of God the Father; He connected us back to Him that automatically qualifies us to the wealth of the kingdom of God; ease was brought to us, only if we can connect to it.
Jesus said in Matthew 11:28,
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Your rest is dependent on you being with Jesus. In Him your best is not hidden in your daily toil for rest to be guaranteed. “… for my yoke is easy and my burden is light”- being in Christ does not mean you take liberty for freedom but there are principles of the kingdom that would be revealed unto you through the enablement of the Holy Ghost and the exposition of the Word of God when followed strictly.
Luke 12:31 says,
“But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you”.
It has therefore been established in Matthew 6:33 that you should “seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you”. In other words “step into God’s reality, God’s initiative, and God’s provision. Don’t worry about missing out, you will find all your desires met”. “All these things” talks about your daily needs for survival, only in Christ is your success, feeding, health, power for ministration and manifestation, job, home, belongings hidden. “His righteousness” talks about doing according to the will of God and the principles of the kingdom (sowing and reaping – Genesis 26:12; giving and receiving – Luke 6:38) and being sure of your salvation.
Philippians 4:19 says,
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
The scriptures said “need” not “needs”- you have only one need (JESUS) and in Him are all your needs found. Don’t give up on God. Quit your own way, quit your own thinking, quit running after the flesh (Luke 12:22-31). Make your race in God, make your race God. Follow His will and principles; store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven. Everything you need is in Jesus. Why go far when you are near? Follow restitution and amend your way with Christ, your reward is nigh. You can conquer lack.
